I work from Monday to Friday.
Trabajo de lunes a viernes.
She is very friendly.
Ella es muy amable.
Do you live near here?
¿Vives cerca de aquí?
Are they your classmates?
Sam: Mia, I always get confused. I say: “She work in a bank.” Is that okay?
Mia: Good try, Sam, but remember: with he, she, it, we add -s or -es in present simple.
Sam: Ah, so it is: She works in a bank.
Mia: Exactly! And be careful: to be is different. We don’t say “She works happy.” We say: She is happy.
Sam: So…
She works in a bank = Ella trabaja en un banco.
She is happy = Ella está feliz.
Mia: Perfect! That’s the difference we’ll practice today.
