Futuro: Going to
Futuro: Going to

🚀 Talking about Plans: GOING TO
En esta lección aprenderás a hablar de planes (I’m going to study tonight), intenciones (We’re going to buy a new phone) y predicciones con evidencia (Look at those clouds — It’s going to rain).
🎯 Objetivos
- Formar oraciones afirmativas, negativas y preguntas con am/is/are + going to + verbo base.
- Hacer WH-questions (What / Where / When / Why / Which / How…) con going to.
- Usar expresiones de tiempo: tonight, tomorrow, next week, on Saturday, in June, later, soon.
I’m going to call my mom tonight. Si además tienes evidencia (¡mira esas nubes!), también funciona: It’s going to rain. ☁️”
Usos principales
- Planes / Intenciones: I’m going to visit my grandma this weekend.
- Predicciones con evidencia: Look at the clouds — It’s going to rain.
- Decisiones ya tomadas (antes del momento de hablar): We’re going to buy the tickets online.
🔹 Señales frecuentes: tonight, tomorrow, this afternoon, next (week/month/year), on Saturday, in June, later, soon.
🧩 Mini-actividad: elige el uso correcto 👇

⏰ “Going to” vs Presente Continuo (futuro cercano)
| Situación | “Going to” (plan / intención) | Presente Continuo (arreglo / agenda) |
|---|---|---|
| 🦷 Cita con hora | I’m going to see the dentist soon. | I’m seeing the dentist at 4 pm. |
| 👔 Ropa | I’m going to wear a black suit. | I’m wearing a suit to the event at 7. |
| 🛍️ Amigos | We’re going to meet at the mall. | We’re meeting at the mall at 6. |
💬 Diálogos: Compras, planes y predicciones
🛍️ A) Compras + ropa
Mia: What are you going to wear for the interview tomorrow?
Sam: I’m going to wear a dark blue suit and a white shirt.
Mia: Are you going to buy new shoes?
Sam: Yes, I’m going to get them at the mall this afternoon.
☕ B) Planes + hora/lugar
Sam: Where are we going to meet on Saturday?
Mia: Let’s meet at the café on Main Street. I’m going to get there at 5.
Sam: Great. Are you going to bring the vocabulary cards?
Mia: Yes! And if it rains — it’s going to rain — we’ll sit inside.
🌧️ C) Predicción con evidencia
